“ It's a side of the road local establishment. The food is excellent and you get a large Mount. You will jot ho away hungry. I had the Reuben and it was one of the best ones I've eaten . Fries were good as well. ”
“ Hands down one of the best spots in payson. Had a wonderful experience during our over night trip at Christopher creek. The service and food were outstanding! Being that it’s off season, the bartender was also the server and the cook! She was on top of everything and we never had to wait for drinks or anything. Pizza was phenomenal. Sarah, thank you for the great conversation and for making us feel like regulars. Definitely will be a mandatory stop for us every time we are in the area. ”

“ I particularly love "out of the way" local establishments. This one, seemingly in the middle of nowhere, was right up my alley. Went in for a late lunch early dinner and was greeted by a few locals as well as Marlow the bartender/server. She was a complete doll and made our visit truly a memorable one. We ordered the green chilie burrito and the philly sandwich with fries and both were delicious, not to mention generous portions. We sat and took in some of the local conversation and asked Marlow what seemed like a hundred questions about the establishment and the area in general and she was happy to give us all of the info we needed. The place is decorated in dollar bills with signatures from patrons, and we of course had to add our own to the mix.This was a weekday visit. They have and outdoor bar/stage area that looked awesome and fun so I wish we could have come in on a weeked evening to see the nightlife crowd but that will have to be another trip. And if I ever make it back to Payson, this will be first on my list to visit again! Thanks Marlow for being such a sweetheart and representing The Double D with such amazing service! ”

“ Our family had a cabin up at cavecreek cabins this last weekend but their restaurant was closed for those couple days so our only other closest option was double d bar n grill. So we ate there for lunch both days and the service and food was quite good!!! ”
